31 year old Chris Odom appeared in General Sessions Court Tuesday of a charge of domestic assault that took place in April of this year. He was convicted of misdemeanor assault and sentenced to 11 months and 29 days. He must also attend a batterers treatment program .
Odom was arrested in August for a criminal incident involving a woman he was in a domestic relationship with. He was a former police officer with the McMinnville Police Department for three years.
