Operation Southern Slowdown has come into effect for this week. The state of Tennessee has teamed up with Georgia as well as other southern states and the National Highway Traffic Safety administration to launch the speed enforcement campaign. This campaign will increase law enforcement to enforce the speed limit in order cut down on crashes, injuries, and fatalities. Be aware as you are traveling this week and think about others! Slow down it could save a life!
