A 69-year-old Middle Tennessee woman died early Friday morning when her house exploded.  Arrington Fire & Rescue was called to the scene on Wilson Pike around 2:37am. The structure was fully engulfed with a large debris field around it. Debris was discovered on the roofs of nearby homes, in trees, and out to the street. Damage was found on vehicles and homes in the area. Crews conducted a search and found the occupant of the residence  deceased. She was later identified as Janice Toon Rhine.  A leaking propane tank is suspected as the cause of the blast but it could be a week or longer before the official cause is known.
